Museum Visitor Guidelines
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for all visitors, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines during your visit:
- Please do not touch any exhibits. Drawing, writing on, or otherwise interfering with exhibits is strictly prohibited.
- Bulky items such as large bags, backpacks, suitcases, or oversized personal belongings are not permitted inside the Museum.
- Move with care and avoid any contact with displayed artifacts or restricted areas.
- Smoking and the consumption of food or snacks are not allowed within exhibition spaces.
- Weapons, explosives, flammable materials, or any hazardous substances are strictly forbidden on Museum premises.
- Kindly maintain order, keep noise to a minimum, and help preserve the cleanliness of the Museum.
- The Museum reserves the right to request visitors to leave the premises in cases of disruptive behavior or damage to exhibits.
- Any individual responsible for damaging exhibits, documents, property, or equipment (including fixed installations) will be required to provide full compensation based on the value of the damaged items and may bear legal responsibility for their actions.

Hands-On Experiences at the Minh Long Ceramics & Porcelain Museum
The Minh Long Museum currently offers two immersive experience programs:
- Pottery Wheel Throwing
- Ceramic Painting & Decoration
This hands-on activity allows visitors to shape a ceramic piece from clay using a traditional pottery wheel, with guidance from a trained instructor.
After the session, your piece will be carefully dried, glazed, and kiln-fired by the Museum to complete the process.
Participants will:
- Become familiar with the clay and pottery wheel
- Shape and form their ceramic piece
- Refine details and apply decorative elements
- Have the finished product glazed and fired after the experience
Visitors paint and decorate pre-made ceramic items—such as bowls, cups, plates, or vases—using specialized ceramic paints.
Once completed, the artwork is kiln-fired and can be taken home as a meaningful keepsake.
To ensure the best results, please observe the following:
- Do not apply paint to the base of the ceramic item
- Each item may use only one type of paint (either glossy or matte)
- Apply paint in thin layers and allow each layer to dry before adding the next
- Ceramic painting: approximately 10–14 days
- Pottery wheel throwing: the Museum will notify you once firing is complete
- No tools or materials are required
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on activities
- Bring a relaxed mindset and a touch of creativity
