Beyond a visit, every ticket to Minh Long Museum opens the door to a journey of discovering culture, art, and stories shaped by earth and fire.

From exploring a curated collection of remarkable ceramic works and meeting master artisans, to unwinding over a cup of tea and engaging in hands-on ceramic experiences, visitors can enjoy a diverse range of activities woven into a single, enriching journey.

1. EXPLORE THE MUSEUM COLLECTION

Step into Minh Long Museum and discover thoughtfully curated exhibition spaces that preserve and present stories of Vietnamese culture, history, and porcelain art. Each artifact is more than an object of aesthetic value; it reflects the creative process, craftsmanship, and generations-long dedication to preserving the essence of ceramics.

This is the starting point for discovering the beauty of ceramics—a seemingly simple material that embodies the depth of earth, fire, human hands, and time.

2. MEET THE ARTISANS

Ceramics are not only meant to be admired as finished works. At the museum, visitors can also witness the process of creating a ceramic piece through live demonstrations by skilled artisans.

From the earliest stages of shaping the clay to the moment it gradually takes form, every movement of the artisan’s hands reflects skill, experience, and a deep passion for the craft. Through these demonstrations, the story of ceramics becomes more tangible and accessible, allowing visitors not only to admire the finished works but also to gain a deeper appreciation of the journey behind their creation.

3. ENJOY A REFRESHING TEA

After exploring the museum, take a moment to slow down and enjoy a refreshing cup of chilled tea in a space infused with the character of handcrafted ceramics.

A cup of tea, a tranquil setting, and the distinctive forms and textures of ceramics create a gentle pause along the journey. It is also an opportunity to experience the spirit of the museum—not simply as a place to observe, but as a place to experience, connect, and enjoy.

4. WATCH THE PORCELAIN MUSICAL PERFORMANCE VIDEO

From earth and fire, ceramics can become more than works of art—they can also create extraordinary sounds.

Through a video performance featuring musical instruments crafted from ceramics, visitors can discover an intriguing new dimension of this unique material. These distinctive sounds extend the story of ceramics from the visual to the auditory, demonstrating the continuous creativity that brings ceramics closer to contemporary life.

5. CREATE YOUR OWN PORCELAIN MASTERPIECE

One of the highlights of the museum experience is the hands-on ceramic painting activity. Rather than simply admiring finished works, visitors can express their creativity directly on a ceramic piece, choosing their own colors and patterns to create something uniquely their own.

This experience is suitable for a wide range of visitors—from families and groups of friends to children and art enthusiasts looking for a relaxing and creative activity. A ceramic piece completed by your own hands can also become a meaningful keepsake, carrying the memory of a day spent discovering Minh Long Museum.
